Author: Romina Llaguno

Romina Llaguno (1993) is the founder and director of CACO, as well as a writer and marketing and communications specialist. She graduated in Integral Design from the Rey Juan Carlos University, holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Sales Management from the EAE Business School (Madrid), and is currently pursuing an MA in Art Market Management from the Rey Juan Carlos University.
Her practice focuses on implementing synergies between cultural studies—especially abstract visual arts—and markets, contextualizing design, art, and culture within current consumption models and formats. Her line of research centers on abstract and conceptual practices, highlighting the importance of deconstructing their appraisal solely through technical execution, focusing on their sensorial value and psychological impact. She has curated texts for Matadero Madrid and collaborates as an editor for various magazines, such as Viola Magazine and She & She Magazine.
