Amanda Gatti

(1996, Brazil) is an artist and researcher working primarily with performance, video, photography, and installation, seeking to understand the body as a mediator within these disciplines. Her work explores how we occupy — and are occupied by — the spaces around us. She holds a Master’s degree in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture from the Museo Reina Sofía/UCLM (Spain, 2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Production from PUCRS's School of Communication, Arts, and Design (Brazil, 2018). She has presented her work in exhibitions and festivals across Latin America and Europe, and has taken part in artist residencies in Brazil, Spain, and Ireland. Alongside her artistic practice, she develops actions and workshops aimed at creating critical and experimental spaces through collaborative approaches. She currently lives and works in Spain.
